Vintage Shoot Report

A great day at the range. it was hot in the butts but the breeze off the lake was refreshing on the firing line.

Scores are getting quite high. Some of the guys can really shoot. Almost as well as this your lady...

This is more of a shooting opportunity than a competition. Rifles are what ever someone wants to shoot. For example:

Hm, I thought it is about vintage military rifles...

well some of us were pretty "vintage" and there were military rifles...so I think that qualifies! I thought our Range Officer did a great job of keeping the practices moving while allowing folks the time to get their equipment sorted out so that they could really enjoy the day. It was a perfect shooting day. Thanks Ganderite for arranging it.

It started as a competition for "vintage " rifles. Bu then the "vintage" shooters aged and needed optics and it all went to h ell as everyone decided to just have fun and shoot whatever they want to shoot.

The only thing "vintage" now is some of the shooters and the wine we have for prizes.
