Hi,
I picked up a minty vintage box of SPEER BULLETS at the Woodstock gun Show today.
They are marked .30 Caliber 150 Grain Type "WR" Soft Point Bullets.
Wondering what the "WR" means ? - They have a small flat meplat and the cannelure lines up perfectly for overall length alongside a loaded 150 Grain Winchester 30-30 Power Point Cartridge for comparison.
I'm guessing they are for reloading 30-30 WCF (?)
Does anyone have an old Speer manual for reference ?
The box looks like it's from the 1950's
Thanks for looking......Dave.
