I have a Mossy Oak Winter Brush Graphics rifle skin. It says Do-it-yourself vinyl rifle skin. Has anyone have any experience with this type of kit? Please post any tips that you may have for the installation, the do's and the don'ts. I'm very fussy with the end result. It has to be perfect or at least all most perfect. I may pick out a rifle from the safe, but am leaning more so towards picking up a Ruger American in 22-250 for the candidate. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've posted this picture on here enough times that I'm gonna get a hard time about it soon but, mossy oak obsession, it was even easier to put it on then it looks, I painted the Stainless/synthetic rifle with green krylon first, the mossy oak vinyl is really easy to put on cleanly, apparently with a hair dryer to warm it up you can stretch it a bit to perfection. It will scratch or gouge easier then some finishes, but its cheap and quick to put on, depending on how hard you are on your stuff, expect to replace/change it in 5-15 years.

I used it on a 303 lee enfield with an ugly plastic stock. It turned out great. You need a good heat gun and sharp knife.it is forgiving can be moved some.it covers those ugly plastic stocks.
