I personally don't really see the need for FFP. To me if I'm shooting far enough that I need to compensate for drop chances are I'll be at 24 with my 6-24 and the reticle will be correct.
Any long range rig of mine gets a 200 yard zero and closer than that is an easy correction. 200+ yards gets 24 power and the reticle will be correct if I don't want to dial up on the turret.
In the field I don't shoot at animals past 300 yards and 300 and less is a pretty easy correction if you've practiced and know your trjectory.

To me it's not worth the extra money, especially since I doubt it costs any more to make than a SFP and they're just jacking the price to take advantage of our gullibility thinking we need to buy the newest fad to be able to hit a target.

If you're shooting varying distances and/or dialling mag to get in and out of the mirage, ffp is a huge advantage. I personally would never buy a sfp scope again, unless it was strictly for range use punching paper.

One thing is that the Sightron is a lot less available. Do you guys have local stores that stock them or do you order online. Where can they be found for a good price online in Canada?

Thanks for the replies. Looks like both carry a good stock. Just a shame that the sii big Sky doesn't have matching reticle and turrets. Might have to pick one up in duplex for a varmint gun though.
