good guy diopter!!! that mount is quite nice, ive only 2 scoped rifles, but since ive started with milsurps im starting to prefer the open sights, my 1889 shot crazily well at the 300 yard gong, and the sights you have set up on that running deer rifle buffdog are so nice, it was an excellent rifle to shoot, i can only wish i was closer to that range, id love to be out there every weekend!
Here's my question; how many pairs of grannie drawers did it take to clean the 25mm?![]()
I was so impressed with Johns shooting skill. Off hand @ 300 yards with a Henri martini he was so close to hitting the gong! Very impressive!
Probably a lot less than I can remember using with the 25 Pounder or the 105 Howitzer, and much less than you have used over the years!
You are probably going to have to ask that question of the "low man on the Totem Pole" at Wolverine. Having that much fun, I kind of wondered why John let some of the other Wolverine people fire it. I think you may have hit on the answer --"You were the last one to fire it, so you can clean it!"
I have to hand it to John though - he does share his Toys well with other people.
