Hey everyone be careful you dont open the thread titled Moose Season by Archie _James_ C. My Kaspersky anti-virus popped up an alert stating there was a virus contained in that thread. Just a caution, maybe the mods can delete the thread and check for a trojan or virus.

nothing on my virus software. (AVG)
restart your cpu & try it again.

Im running a real good Kaspersky and as soon as I clicked on that thread to read it I got a virus detection warning from my Kaspersky giving all the details of the thread title etc. Sorry but I'll trust my Kaspersky over AVG any day, never had trouble with it like I did AVG.

Mebbe turn the alerts sensitivity down a wee bit.

Did Kasperky give up a name? Or did you stop looking, once the alert started flashing? Most of the time, its the "interactive" stuff from the photo hosting sites that blow the alarm.
If the AV program ups with a name, DAGS the name, and then see if another program picks up the same, before going code red on us, eh! :D

Cheers
Trev

And sorry if anyone got a scare but another of my favorite sites back in spring was hacked and it was down for a couple months while they had to rebuild it. Just thought I'd give warning in case.

I thought it might be someone's photo hosting link...Dennis, you're under siege!:D

use hand sanitizer.

seriously, back up your stuff weekly. i have had much less problems since ditching exporer and using firefox as a browser. Microsoft is somewhat "unliked" by hackers
