I keep them away from the yard, but if far enough away I'll let them be. Can be hard on young trees, but nothing like deer. Haven't had them touch our wood buildings, that's looked after by the raccoon union. For a man with a firearm, they are completely defenseless, and I take no joy in dispatching them.
