Here's a man in Poland who looks like he built a prototype of the VIS pistol. Pretty neat if you appreciate these guns. I wonder if he would ever sell it (them). He also built a shoulder stock.
All pictures posted are from his website and are his property.

Nice. I have a WW2 Radom. IMHO my best shooter of the period, including Colt 1911, P38, Inglis and Nazi HiPowers.

If you look at the SHOT threads Martin from Corwin Arms had photos showing the new production VIS pistol Radom is starting to produce. Looking forward to it!

I can't believe I missed Martin's thread.

I agree that it's a superior pistol from WWII, it's about time that Radom started to pump these out again.

I have a WW2 type 2 (3 lever) J prefix. Nice gun but war finish. A reissue of the Polish Eagle would
sell out fast.

Although I don't believe any survived, there are rumours that some were produced before the war as prototypes in Poland. At the very least, it was in the design stages, if not production.

According to article written by Piotr Wilniewczyc and published in 1959 there was one prototype, made for the trials in Argentine in 37.

The 45 VIS is slightly larger the the original 9mm version. So is the shoulder stock - the 9mm and 45 stocks do not exchange. At present there are two 45 complete prototypes and a potential for the 45 being available for sale in limited numbers later in the year.

I believe the 45ACP is a one-off, I didn't even bother asking for a price.

The shoulder stock repro is approx $1000 CDN - custom made to order.

The new VIS will probably use the same mags as before, which are not interchangable with a 1911. The whole grip & grip angle is different than a 1911.
