Hi Guys, staying at the Fairmont Vancouver for a week and I'm wondering about firearm stores to visit. I don't have a car so I'll either have to bus or cab it. I see Lever Arms is not too far as well as Italian Sporting Goods. Do either of these stores sell reloading components? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Damn, it's too bad you don't have transport. Wanstalls is at the top of my list for Vancouver, but they're in Maple Ridge. If you can put up with quite a bit of transit (skytrain to lougheed, bus to coquitlam centre, bus to maple ridge) you might be able to get there, but it is a bit of time to spend. Italian sporting goods are a good place to start, though.

Reliable Gun and Tackle on Fraser St and 12th Ave.

They have reloading components, but give them a call before you come to Vancouver.

What do you need? There's CustomAmmo out in Maple Ridge and Budget in Surrey that should cover most your reloading needs.

Got time to burn some powder at the Port Coquitlam range?:D

I'm already in town and don't have a lot of time unfortunatly. I'm at a convention all week, I would like to pop around to see Lever, do they sell reloading supplies? Are they far from the Fairmont Vancouver?

Italian will have the best selection of reloading gear out of any stores in the LMD

Prices are very competitive as well, (pleasantly surprised).

not too far, either number 22 bus (macdonald) will get you there, or number 16 (arbrutus). you need to walk a few blocks from the bus stop at burrard and 4th ave. Lever is 6th ave and Burrard (enter from the rear).

Enjoy Vancouver! Lever's service is better now as they hired 2 younger guys that are really nice and helpful. Mullet guy hasn't been there the past 2 times I went on weekdays. Reliable is good, a little pricey. Italian has great selection and prices, but is a little further out on Renfrew St. Might be easy for you to bus there from downtown. Take Hastings (via Skid Row) all the way East till you hit Renfrew and then go South.

I read to the bottom but never heard an invitation to pick him up, show him the area, take him to the Club, and shoot a few rounds.

Those travel arrangements to and from will eat up a day.

Hi-Standard, when are you returning to Newfoundland?

Maybe if you tell us what you need, maybe we have what you need? So you don't have to go to a store. Depends when you are leaving town.

PM sent.

Henry's offer is awesome but if you still want to make it out to Reliable or Italian shoot me a PM and I'll give you a lift on Thur or Fri. Lever kinda sucks for reloading stuff IMO even though it is close to D/T

Wanstalls is awesome, but it's a trek for you. You can buy all the cool stuff from their website too. I'd say hit Reliable and Italian, they have 99% of what you may want. I would not waste your time with lever, unless you want old sks parts, Czech ammo, and surly attitude.

Enjoy the town, there is lots to do downtown!

I manged to get him out and took him to Lever and Reliable, he found Vancouver ammo pricing much better than on the rock. Was not able to spend time having a beer but a very nice guy to meet.

Colin: You are my idea of a gentleman. Thank you
