VISM green dot/laser sight

Hi,

I'm looking for a red dot sight to put on my 10/22 Nomad kit. I saw the VISM but couldn't find much info on it.

Have any of you tried it? Are they worth it?

I have a Vism green laser scope. Bought it a few years ago as a gimmick scope for a project unknown at that time. Finally put it to use on my Savage 64 gopher sniper project. The optics are fair, the laser doesn't work when cold, has a little warm up lag even at room temp, unlike a red laser which seem to be instant on. The dot is quite large at 25 yrds, easy to adjust to POI, also very visible at the indoor range, bright daylight may be different for sure. I adjusted the objective lens to make it useable for rimfire ranges. Power ring is smooth. Haven't used it in actual field use. If you're looking for the cool factor it beats the crap out of hang on stuff. An accessory momentary switch would be a nice feature. A switch from another add on might fit, haven't checked around. For what it is, I'm satisfied.
