doesn't CSG own Fiocchi too and thats the only primer my LGS had available in the last year (maybe 2)

This was probably coming for awhile given the kickback Vista got over Savage a couple years ago after one or another of the mass shootings in the US.
The individual companies / brands Vista sold have been bought and sold numerous times in the past. It's been a very long time since Messrs. Speer owned CCI & Speer. As for Alliant, most of their product line is made in Europe. As for Remington & Barnes, well, it was only a few years ago they were part of a bankrupt conglomerate that could just as well have disappeared & the machinery sold off-shore.
No need to panic methinks.
Don't forget, Canada's military ammunition is made by a foreign company, after the Feds sold IVI to SNC Lavalin [now Atkins Realis, a ploy to throw off info-seekers] , who turned around and sold it to General Dynamics in 2006.
