The cost of 12ga target ammunition has increased here by about 50% over the past six months.
I have a good supply of lead, Claybuster CB0175-12s and Cheddite primers but am a little short on powder.
Have traditionally used 700-X or Red Dot both of which have transitioned to Unobtainium status.
The only powder that I can find in any amount is Vitavouri.
In their promo they state of N310
"As a very versatile powder, it is suitable also for loading shotshells and is in fact used by shotgun ammunition manufacturers in their premium cartridges with light 24 gram target loads."
However I can find no reload info whatsoever.
Vitavouri's site only has info for 3" loads which would be a bit unpleasant for a round of clays.
As a prudent sort of a guy I am reluctant to give the powder try without at least some kind of basic guidance, my face is not pretty but I do value it and do not wish to blow it or my hands off or blow up my shotgun for that matter.
Does anyone here have any experience loading light 12ga loads over either N310 or N320?
Thx
