I have one installed but I did not try it yet, looks pretty solid.

There is a clamp that goes over the rod guide, another that fits in the handguard clip grooves on the barrel and one that replace the stripper clip guide.

Simon, your rifle looks really awesome with that configuration. How 'see-through' is that top rail? I'm not asking if it's invisible, I'm just curious how high you have to click up your rear sights. On my Leapers aluminum mount, I have to set to 300m for a full sight picture. I notice that your optics goes into the groove a bit, but have you tried using standard rings?

About the only thing I don't like about that rail is the giant ass knob under the optics, but I'm pretty used to that phrase so it's not like it would hurt my feelings.

At 13 clicks I see about 1/8'' of the front sight post, 13 clicks is my 100 meter zero.

The knob is on the qrp2 mount for the aimpoint.

I too have one, in the same configuration as shown above (albeit with a 50x scope). It is indeed a solid mount. I quite like it.

Thanx guys
Hey, so my next question is, how was the instal? Everything line up good on the chinese rifles? Factory shorties? Or standards?

Installation is pretty straightforward, I only had trouble with the part that replace the stripper clip guide.
I had to hammer it in with a rubber mallet and the roll pin they send with it just wont fit. Very tight fit, its a good thing I guess.

gorgeous rifle, can I have it?

No you cant :slap: , sorry. I have spent way too much time and money on this one .

Tought you might find theses useful Doc.

There is no threads in the guide, there is a small plate that goes under the guide that is threaded .

This screw is tightening a clamp that goes in the other handguard clip slot.

Thanx Simon
that's cool of ya to post those pics n description.
I'm seeing Chris from Armtac in a couple days so will be on his case to order me one :D

Unfortunately, I am not able to modify or develop a new part for this rail for the M14.ca Blackfeather "RS." I have one for sale, unmounted, unused in the box. Ready to go for a reasonable price.

Here is that medium 18.5 Krieger install on a Springfield M1A.

Only ran AE 150gr thru it so far, 1.5 moa. Need to run some 168gr thru it to tell for accuracy.

Set up was fast and easy. I only had to chamfer out on the CASV where it met the medium contour barrel.

Otherwise good to go. Once i have a time to put a scope on it and really test it, i will post up.
