Con, all I can say is good luck buddy. As I am sure you've seen, VLTOR makes the stock and the handguard, though only Springfield sells the handguard. The stock can be bought from Desert Warrior, or a few other places. If this doesn't sound bothersome enough, if you want the handguard from Springfield (and only in the US), you have to ship them your rifle for them to install it. From their perspective, this is only to ensure that it was done properly (bs).
With that said, I do have a complete VLTOR system, and it is sick looking. Maybe you can get lucky and find the handguard sold second hand - prob off ebay or the like.
