VMAX's rock!!

Here's a 10 shot group from the bench, at 100 yrds out of my Savage .270 using Hornady 110gr VMAX bullets. Discounting the two I pulled out, this is an honest .8" group.
Of all the lighter bullets I have tried, the 110 VMAX comes out on top. This gun is my goto coyote gun, & yes I did adjust the scope for .5" left .
Load was 58gr of H4350, chrono'd @ 3200fps.

The rifle is a Savage 111 synthetic stock, topped with a Bushnell Banner 6-18 x50 glass.

I use 55gr. vmax bullets in my .223 12FVSS and I totally agree with you regarding performance, these are top quality projectiles!

Hey Camper, this rifle is my coyote gun so it's supposed to shoot 2" high @ 100yrds. If I had been shooting @ 200yrds I'd expect them all to be in the bullseye .
