I have recently recieved a voere .22 semi auto rifle from my opa. All I know about this gun is that it is all 100% original and was the first year that voere made a firearm that wasn't an air / pellet gun and that it has what seems to be a very early serial number. Ive taken it out to 50 yards and i ended up with a nice little hole in the bullseye after about 50-60 rounds. It's got the original single power weaver scope (4x I think) on it and its still pretty clear. It also has two original 10round mags. I completely disassembled it and cleaned it and the internals are in great shape. It was a farm gun back when they came to Canada and has probably given many gofers a bad day :D its a little beat up and scratched on the barrel and the bluing is faded in some spots.

Any additional info would be greatly appreciated ( I.e history, price, availability , etc)
Thanks in advance.

Voere was founded as KOMA in 1948 and started making small bores under the VOERE name in 1955. They moved from Vöhrenbach (Ger - opened in 1960) to Kufstein (Aus), when they bought Sportwaffen Tyrol, and started the hunting rifle production in 1965.
Unlike stipulated in some books, the Vöhrenbach (Ger) was still a sister company when sold (1986) to Mauser Werke (which continued to manufacture the Titan).

They used to stamp the last two digit of the year of manufacture around the proofmarks.
Yours looks like a model 2114 (beech). There was also a luxury model, with walnut stock, called the mod. 2115.

They're not that common here, but they are found here and there. They bring little collector interest, so their value is not very high. A very good condition 2114 won't bring much more than about 250.00 $, for a well used one, think of 120-125.00 $ max.
The model 2115 was made 'til about 1995.

Coolio. Thanks man. Ya know anyone who might wanna buy this one? I'm thinking its gonna end up on the EE because I'm an AR / pistol / shot gun guy so I don't have much use for it. It'll be a few years before my son starts shooting so ill get him a nice 10/22 or something then.

That rifle is in very good condition. You've said it is very accurate. It's also a higher quality rifle than a 10/22. It was also owned by your Opa. Why on Earth would you sell it?

Not Me. Maybe ask on the Rimfire forum or place it on the EE... but I must agree with Grouse Man.
