Voere Combo Guns..???

How are the Voere Combo Guns?

Something like 12ga over .222rem
- How is the quality of the metal...classy or cheap?
- Do they feel nice with decent balance?
- Any plastic? Robust gun or fragile and finicky?
- Better than Savage..why?
- Weight and size...heavy and fat....or nice and trim?

Need to know more, is it Voere of Kufstein Austria or Voere of Voerenbach (or some such) of Germany. In my opinion the latter outfit makes better rifles, however neither is on the "high end" of Euro.rifles...having said that, I have never seen or used a double,drilling, or combo from those makers. From my experience with their other guns, they will be good quality, but not near Merkel, Krieghoff, etc. but their price won't be either, certainly a step up in quality and finish from Savage though and should be all wood and steel as guns were meant to be. Unlike Merkel, Kreighoff, etc. I don't know where you would get parts to fix such a gun.....IMHO

I have one. Shoots very well. Nice design. Rear sight pops up when you select the rifle.

It is a short rifle, considering the barrel length. Not lost weight/length to a bolt.
