Voere HDF Titan

I had a 270 Winchester. Very well built, no plastic, quick lock time, nice trigger, heavy. Seems to be a few coming in through Great North Gun and Intersurplus, check condition carefully on these.

Not sure re scope mounting choices as mine came with rings and bases.

Saw a nice one in 270 wby the other day for 850$ iirc

It seems like there is two different “brand” of Voere rifles, one that is German and one Austrian…
There is one at prophet river in 9.3x62….

I think the voere titan is German built. Mine was marked Mauser 99, but was the same.

They also have their name on some Mauser type M98 rifles which might have been Austrian?
Epps has a few used Titans too.

The Titan action was sold to Mauser by Voere so they manufacture the M99. Voere used the money to fund a caseless ammunition rifle, which never really took off. The Austrian and the German Voere are one company, but, see it like that, two divisions.

Once upon a time, I owned a Voere HDF Titan II in 30-06. They are three lug, push-feed design with a detachable magazine. Mine was the most accurate rifle I ever owned. Buckmastr sums them up well; exceedingly slick and well made. I sold mine because it was an easy 10lbs with a not particularly big scope. Most seem to run between 500 and 1200 dollars. Do not lose the magazine.

Sporteque carries a lot of voere stuff, both push feed and their model 98 sporters. Good deal at great north on a NOS takedown with 2 barrels

I owned two Voere rifles back in the 80's. One was a center fire and one was a rim fire. I remember that both shot very well but not much stands out in my memory on the center fire but the rimfire memory is still there. I had a few Anchutz rimfires at the time that were marketed in Canada by CIL. The model 310 CIL and that Voere 22 were indistinguishable sitting side by side, identical in every way except the barrel roll...and their target groups were equally indistinguishable, basically hole-in-hole.

I can’t see the last one you mentioned! Would you mind posting a link?

I cannot believe the European guns pouring into Canada from Great North/tradex/intersurplus/Epps.
Most are high quality rifles/shotguns but the close up pics show a ton of marks, missing sights, cracks, threaded barrels, brakes etc. I would guess that the majority of these guns have been poorly packed when shipped giving most of the damage. It’s unfortunate and putting downward price pressure on these guns like the voere which were uncommon until now.

I had a Titan II in 375 H&H. Slick push feed action and very accurate. Magazines were hard to come by and mine had a habit of falling out under recoil which is not great when you're on safari. Sold it, got a pre-64 in 375 H&H and never looked back.
