strip the black off of the receiver and polish it up and SHA-ZAM, one sweet looking rig.

I would definately like to do that but this rifle is a 10/22 Magnum and I believe that receiver is steel instead of the aluminum and the black finish is here to stay.

Here are some groups from my newly bedded stock. These are .22 Magnum groups at 100 yards. After a while my groups shrank as I got the feel for the gun, trigger and round. Amazing what happens when you actually get out there and shoot .
I did notice a difference in the consistency of the groups expecially in the TNT's. I still think my rifle has a preference for Winchester but its close. It basically comes down to consistency, Winchester takes it here.

Here is a pic of my stock pile of WMR ammo. I am just waiting for some local CGN'er to take me gopher hunting (I'm relatively new to town).
