Volquartsen extractors available in Canada?

$15 from brownells. $5.75 to ship to canada, arrives in about 2 weeks. Best price around if you don't mind a little bit longer of a wait. Do some searching on Brownells.

Brownells is the place to go. Don't stop with new extractors for your 10/22. Get new trigger kits.
Changed extractors and triggers on mine. Made a big difference in performance.

Yeah, I saw Brownells but was thinking about buying in Canada.

WRT the trigger kit, are you referring to the Volquarsten hammer? I'm thinking of getting that, too... Might as well since I'm paying the shipping anyway.

What else is there as far as "reliability" upgrades? I want my 10/22 to be as flawless as possible.

Thus far, the only other thing I can think of is a stronger magazine catch/plunger spring. My mags have a lot of play, as the plunger spring doesn't seem nearly strong enough...

Milarm. They are listed as a Canadian distributer on Volquartsens site. Email them, since they do not list the parts on their site. I ordered a few Volquartsen 10/22 parts from them a few months back, but have not installed them yet.

That's who I got mine through last month.

I got the volquartsen extractor, auto bolt release and hammer kit which reduces trigger pull to 2-3lbs from the stock 7 lbs. All under $100 from Brownells. Probably the same stuff you'll want to upgrade. The great thing about Brownells is if the order total is under $100, there is no duty tax using USPS.

What shipping option did you choose?? looking at their site now and there ups canada standards, worldwide saver, etc. i want the cheapesy shipping possible

Avoid UPS if possible - they extort you for "brokerage" that costs half an arm and a few toes.

Did you try a Canadian dealer?

Word of caution: Brownell's orders are currently piled to the ceiling and beyond due to the ammo/gun/parts craze in the USA. I have two orders that have been sitting there for weeks. At this rate, you'd be better off going with a Canadian outfit even if the price is more. I have a feeling that international orders are filed at the back of the line right now and all the U.S. customers are given priority treatment.

Called Milarm, no dice. They dont expect anymore VQ extractors until possibly April! I went with Brownells, and chose the parcel priority mail or whatever. Scary thing is they don't give you any shipping cost even after you've placed the order. Once it ships I'll get dinged with the total cost. Hope it's $5.75 like silent dragon said.

I tried getting an extractor for my 597 from Brownell's last week and they wouldn't ship it up here.

I had this problem with a customers 597 VTR, all the 597 extractors that Brownells stocks are restricted for export to Canada, after a little back and forth-ing they agreed to special order me a volquartsen 597 extractor which has no export restrictions, it all worked out in the end, took a few weeks for the special order but I got it none the less, call them, I'm sure they'd do the same for you... Just FYI the volquartsen 597 extractor kit does Not contain a replacement extractor spring like the 10/22 kit does...
Friggin 597s.... Lol
