Volquartsen Grip Question About SW Victory

Does anybody have these wood grips on their Victory pistol? The Volquartsen website says the grip comes with an extended mag release. Is this captured within the grip and just push on the existing one or does the pistol have to be taken apart and the new one installed?

I have four sets the release extension comes with the grips nothing has to be done with the original release . Everything is a bolt on .

They are nice but pricey . More suited to bullseye shooting than any action pistol shooting . They do add more control to the S&W . The tiny factory grips suck . The TandamKross Bee Hive grips feel great but look awful not a rubber grip fan
