Hey guys I just bought a Vortex Defender for my Sig 320 XFive. I am now looking for an adapter plate for the sight. As I write this Vortex Canada is closed and they might be able to direct me to a supplier or not. The sight has the same foot print as The Shield Optic. I am not the best at Google. Any source either in Canada or the US would be helpful.

Take Care

My son got me one for Father’s Day, looks like a great optic and most likely going to mount it on a Glock.

Sorry I can’t help you out though Bob.

You might be looking for another RD once you realize that the defender can't adjust the dot on the full aperture of the lens.

I'll let you know how it works on my Victory and in about three weeks on my XFive. Among a number of positive reviews from guys I follow closely I now have had two reviews from guys I have never heard of. One claimed the sight would leave streaks of colour of the dot as he shook the sight in front of his camera and claimed all Vortex optics did the same thing. Well neither of my Venoms do it but then I have them mounted on my guns and my eyes have never illustrated what his camera recorded. NOTE: His camera works different then his human eye. I noticed in this guys video the red dot was appearing at the bottom of the lens.

I found a supplier
Outer Impact out of Idaho who makes a plate for it.
