Greetings,
So, I have the Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 4-16x44mm with mil reticle.
I really like the glass, reticle and the magnification is all I need.
As you probably know, this scopes turrets do not have a "stop" when returning it to your zero point. Also, because of the internal design of the turrets, they do not move up and down as you turn them and therefore you can't use a shim as a stop.
I am using my scope on a 22lr to try and reach out to 200m and 300m. I need about 6 mil and 12 mils +/- elevation respectively (and points in between 200 & 300) to get the little projectile out that far. Each full rotation is 6 mils. The problem is, I sometime get "lost" and can't remember if I turned it back down 2 full turns or 1 turn for a shorter distance.
Do you guys that have this scope have any solutions or tricks? I guess I could just dial no more that 5 mil and hold over for the rest...?
Thanks
