Vortex false advertising

Emerson understands. It’s a cheap lesson on a wounded animal. Ballistic turrets are only good for one condition, and with Vortex, they have great warranty. That’s about it.

I'm really not sure why people are still buying Vortex.

A Vortex Razor and a Vortex Crossfire are not the same thing. The recent proliferation of incredibly similar scopes with different brand names gives the illusion of choice, but with the rise in demand for more features than a cross hair and basic turrets for zeroing, Vortex is similarly priced to the other options with similar features. There are a few companies that are wringing $$$ out of brand names that reached their peak sone time ago.

From vortex.com:
"Where do you ship products?
We ship only to locations within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii). We do not ship to Puerto Rico, Guam, APO/FPO Boxes or international addresses."

The packaging is done for the US market, in essence, Canadian distributor (be it Vortex Canada or some other one) would have to either
1. open the package and remove the coupon before selling to a Canadian customer which would probably raise the questions re tampering and selling used ones ...
2. have a special Canadian version of packaging which due to miniscule size of Canadian market is most cases is not even on the radar as not viable.

Being advertised on Vortex US site which clearly states that they do not ship to international destinations pretty clearly points that the advertised promotion is not applicable in Canadian market.

If the Canadian seller advertised this promotion in Canada, then it's between that seller and you as a customer, but did the seller advertise that?

Yes it is advertised with the coupon. I don't think I need to launch a complete investigation with a legal team before I purchase something online. If it say's it comes with something it should. Simple?

In your first post you claim that they told you were SOL, and to go buy a turret from Ballistix.
In your second post you said they gave you a coupon for a turret at Ballistix, but that the coupon didn't work.
Unless I'm missing something it appears to me that they've trying to provide you with a free turret.

Perhaps you should contact someone at Vortex or Ballistix to figure out why your coupon code isn't working. Preferably using a phone.

Bought two vortex had problems with them both cost 200$ to replace one and the other one some guy in Kingston told me nothing wrong peddled both off at loss told the people they had problems never again

Just curious as to how it cost $200 to replace a Vortex scope. Their warranty is without a doubt,as good as they come!

Where does it say that he didnt buy it in Canada? Would have been difficult to buy it from the US.
