Sorry, I didn't mean that in a negative way. With very few exceptions, guys seem to know that the choice items are 'hyper-competitive' and they treat this as fun. If you happen to be the 'winner' that is awesome but for every choice item there are likely a few dozen guys that don't 'win' it. Very few seem to get upset. Its a fun thing and should be treated that way.
Now, we get to sort through this.... :( LOL

How I got the item I wanted:

Have account registered with shipping info already in place.
Spamming f5 as the clock hit 10am.
As soon as items loaded I hit Ctrl+F and searched strike. (Going for 5-25 strike eagle)
Quickly hit add to cart and race through the buttons of the checkout process.
Picked pay with EMT.

Just called in - super friendly! And to everyone wondering, they *may* be able to combine shipping but I only had a scope & rings. Amazing customer service!

Take note of this post here guys.... scrolling the list is too slow and put you behind others in the mad dash. Learn to use search functionality and if the item doesn't show, refresh the page and search again.

Oh yeah it was fun! I had a good time. I was just saying I don't get why people in years past would be dicks about losing an item thats competitive...if you want it why shouldn't others?

Cause not everyone has the humility to accept that others are faster than them. Makes being a winner all the more sweet when you see them seethe.

I did this from home. But I see Clay already responded to you. They are looking for matching names as they pick orders and will combine as they can. But yes, best to call in before you pay so they don't miss anything they need to combine.

If it has my name on the bottom, its me. If not then its Clay. :)

It was rare, even the first sale or two, but there would always be a guy or two who accused us of selling to staff on the side, or not actually having what we said we had, etc. Even then, a tiny minority. I think everyone, including us, was a bit surprised back then with how competitive it would be.
With the last few sales, we get almost none of that. Guys all seem to treat it as fun and rarely get upset if the 'lose out'.
The deals really are great and it is nice to see Vortex getting into guys hands at these prices.

Why did you not just get the 6moa? That’s what I got, and even after placing my order with CC, checking my confirmation email, I went back and refreshed and all the 3moa were sold out but still had 1 6moa left in stock (this was 2min after the sale started) by no means is this rubbing it in, just confussed why you ended up with a item you didn’t want when the one you did want was in stock?

I did this, but with 3 monitors open to windows of the sale page, and the search bar (ctr+f) tuned to the SKU of the three items I was hoping for.
"Adding to cart" puts all items in your one cart on the last monitor if you're signed in, so I just checked out on the last page.

Got the Sparc Solar and Micro 3x that way, but I was still not fast enough for the venom haha. well played.
