Just got back to my notebook/reloading bench. According to my optical grid magnetic bore sighter, my 6-24x50 PST FFP MOA has 70MOA of total range in the turret, but the erector assembly actually moves 69MOA when the windage is perfectly mechanically centered. When the windage is maxed out to one side, the elevation erector assembly has a range of 22MOA. My rifle is zero'd 5.75MOA left of mechanical center, and I have a range in the elevation erector of 68MOA remaining.
If converted to mils, I would have a total elevation erector range of 20mil when windage is at mechanical center, and when at the extreme windage adjustment, it would have 6.3mil.
When spinning the turrets outside of these working erector ranges, the reticle still moves, but it moves in a circular arc, following the contour of the scope tube that the erector assembly is riding against.
