Funny you mention that. I just had my Vortex suffer a recoil issue. :sniper: Every time I fire a round from my 308, the windage moves any where from 1 to 3 clicks. Took me a bit to figure out what it was doing at first. :runaway: After figuring out what was happening, I can say happily that every time I dial it back, it is right on the money again! :D

I will be sending my scope in for warranty and I am quite sure that Vortex will take care of me. My only fear is that they no longer make this particular model anymore.

I've got a Diamondback 2-7X35 on a 12 gauge slug gun. Approx 50-60 rounds and no issues. I am putting a Viper 2-7X32 on my son's 20 gauge slug gun, I do not anticipate any problems.

Well I stopped in to North Pro Sports where I originally bought my Vortex Crossfire scope about a year ago. I mentioned that mine was having issues with the windage turret moving due to recoil. They offered to send it in for me or replace it if they had one in stock. Unfortunately they did not have the Crossfire with the same magnification. They did, however, have a Vortex Viper in a 6.5-20X50mm with a target dot. Well I am a big fan of the target dot reticles and it had beautiful glass in it. After taking the Viper outside and glassing various buildings and such, my girlfriend had a look through and said, "You like it, don't you?" Well I couldn't say no as I had that dumb grin I must get when something impresses me and I like it. So I go back inside and tell the guy at the counter that I am really impressed by the glass and that it has my favorite reticle. He then tells me to go talk to the boss and tell him that I very much like this new Viper and that my Crossfire needs to be sent away for warranty. After a quick minute of thought he tells me that he will give me todays new price for my Crossfire towards the Viper!!! Needless to say, I am very happy about how the whole deal went down. :D
I would like to extend my thanks to the fine gentlemen (& lady) at North Pro Sports for being a great group of people to deal with.
