I must be lucky because I hear all kinds of stories of Vortex being junk and plagued with problems. Im old and have shot all forms of firearms for close to fifty years. I have owned just about every brand of scope made from the $69 dollar tasco to the upper end Zeiss.Swaro ETC. At present I own 9 optics made by Vortex as well as others by different companies. Two razor gen 11s in 4.5-27 one in 3-18,razor red dot,two Viper gen 11s 5-25,two Viper 6.5-20and 4-12 and a Razor spotting scope. I shoot competitively and crank the elevation and windage up and down relentless and have not had any tracking issues or any other malfunctions. I think a lot has to do with improper use and piss poor installations with cheap rings and unqualified people thinkin theyre gunsmiths. Look at the ee and see all the scopes with pinched tubes. Big difference between crushing the tube and faint trace of ring location. Quality rings are matched pairs and only require 18 inch pounds of torque, not foot pounds, torque whats that? I think ur probably following my drift.
