Vortex SPARC - anyone use one? reviews?

I thought mine was dead once also...turned out that I had NV mode on. Felt pretty silly about it; that'd be the first thing I'd check. Once you get it turned on...order a bunch of batteries...nothing worse than looking for those ones...no local shops seem to stock them. Easy as pie to find online.

New Sparc (working, tested by Brett) is enroute from D&S Tactical
Gonna get all silly with it and give it a nice healthy workout
good to hear its a great red dot my buddy has one on his AR, he needs to learn to shoot but i find it works great lol
That sucks you got the bad one, but it is good that DS Tactical came through for you. Just so you know, the NV button trumps the power button every time, you should only have to give the power button a quick push to turn on but a 3-4 second hold to turn off. I have had a Strikefire on my turkey shotgun for several years, and while I don't shoot that gun a lot, it has taken probably 150-200 rounds of 3 and 3.5" turkey loads with no issues yet. Good luck.
