No, my 4 bolts tighten all the way, the optics are firmly attached to the mount.
It's the cross bolt that doesn't pull the "claw" tight. Or even make any contact for that matter.

As soon I have the net (next weekish) I'll post pictures for anyone interested.

That was the issue with the cheap rds I mentioned. Have a look at that "claw" and see if you can grind it a little to seat deeper in its slot.

Well, they are sending me a new one. If that one doesn't work too - then I will modify one to make it work!

I will have this sparc on my sks oneway or another!

New vortex mount arrived.

The mount fits - and its tight. It's just had enough adjustment to tighten to the rail - but it does and it's solid. Range review on weds to follow.

The sparc is now mounted to the bc tactical mount!
