Hey guys, can't say as I really dig the "how much are these worth?" threads myself...however...I'll allow myself to post ONE of them, today only. This SPARC came with a rifle package I bought about 3 years ago, the battery in it worked, the red dot worked, perfect condition, etc. Since I don't use red dots, I never tried it on the rifle, just removed the sight from the gun, took the battery out, and put the sight in in a drawer in my office. I'm now saving for a rifle and have finally admitted I'll likely never use it, so it's EE-bount...but..I have 3 questions;

1. Is the battery required for one of these a CR 2354?
2. Did the magnifiers come with them, or were they an accessory?
3. What would the value of this red dot be today?

Here is the sight, I appreciate anyone who takes a moment to reply. Especially on Father's Day!

Thanks guys,
.22LRGUY

Thats a Gen 1 SPARC, and it came with the magnifier however it was of limited ability and quality. Considering a new SPARC II sells for $300, you could likely expect $125-150 for it if you have all the mounting hardware as well.

Crashman is correct; it is a Gen 1 SPARC and the 2x magnifier came with it. They also came with 3 height risers which you need to mount it.

I had one before upgrading. I actually think they were pretty good little sights for the money. and Vortex is great for warranty. That said, $125-150 is realistic if you have everything it came with as newer optics have supplanted them.
