Vortex sparc or strikefire

Im looking to upgrade my crappy red dot on my sr22. Im looking at both of theses products and cant decide if the sparc is worth the extra cash. The strikefire is the nicer looking red dot, but not really concerned with looks.
 
Have played with both, both are great, in saying that i have my strikefire on the 10/22 and the sparc is on an AR of my buddies.

Going either way is good.
 
Do you have more stuff on your rail? The smaller dimensions of the SPARC might help that. With the rail space I have I find that BUIS juuuuust fits with the Strikefire on it. I might be able to squeeze out more room if I want to put on a magnifier system but it would be tight.
 
Good point about room. Im running mbus so thats something to consider. Ive handled both and the sparc is tiny.
 
I had a Strikefire on my SR before selling of the nordic kit, it fit well but there was no room for a magnifier but did co-witness well with my magpul mbus. If you plan on using a magnifier like a FTS type, I would go with high mounts and a Sparc.
