Hi all, just got an MK18 an was looking at some optics, the standard seems to be eotech and aimpoint, but i was looking at the spitfire and it looked really slick. My question is does anyone run one of these, and what do you think of it? I dont think i've ever seen one on a rifle and thought maybe there is a big shortfall i am overlooking. Thanks!!
 
I have one. They're all right. Glass is ok. Pretty solid. However, it looks like you're... how can I describe this... like you're looking down a very thick-walled pipe, with a relatively small opening in the middle. The narrow field af view is surrounded by a lot of the periphery of the optic. The casing of the optic surrounding the glass is just VERY visible, if that makes any sense. It's been very reliable, though. Very solid.

Haha im picturing how it shows people looking though telescopes in the movies, thanks for input guys, ordering optics online is just so sketchy, hopefully there will be lots at the gun show i can actually check out
 
I'd pass, seen too many issues with QC on those scopes. I really like the Vortex Razor line, but I've seen too many issues with the lower end ones to trust them.
