Good evening,

I am having some minor issues with the mounting of this scope on my Robinson Arms XCR, and would like some input. The scope is a Vortex Viper PST, 6-24X50. The rings I have tried are the Leopold QRW rings, in high, and these are clearly too short.

Does anyone know if the Vortex QD ADM Mount work in this configuration? Does Burris make any rings which would work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I use a low mount on mine. Works fine.
Not sure of the brand though.

Sorry just reread your post. Your scope is much larger than mine. I'm kind of new to optics.

Good luck finding what you need.

Your best bet would be to e-mail vortex directly and get the information from the manufacturer that makes both products you plan on using.

Regards,

I had a vortex crossfire 2.5x10x50 mounted on an akm chassis on an M14 in a burris P.E.P.R. mount. Worked great as this mount was designed to mount optics on a flat top AR style rifle or full length rail. I would recommend this. Mystic Precision sells them. Hope this helps!

And  6-24x is a lot of power...
What makes you say that? I plan on shooting out to 300-500m with an xcr-m, if it ever shows up...

Also, thank you to everyone for their input, I shamelessly got talked into purchasing an ADM Recon Mount, which is QD, and has 30mm rings. Pretty sweeet!

Optics Planet as great info for the dimensions of Burris rings. Between that and the specs from the Vortex site you should be able to calculate what you need precisely.
