Now, instead of scrambling to find the appropriate weaver base, you can install this directly onto your shotgun. Of course, you could always install on some rifles as well (we tested it out on a Ruger 10/22 with success).

This red dot is just really neat, and it's from Vortex.
 
I ran a venom 3MOA on my 870 for a while and liked it.
This is better but cha-ching.
If you already have a threaded receiver like on the 870 Tactical, this wud be a big bonus.
rides lower too.

I have one of these and love it so far. As they said it comes with multiple screws depending on the way your shotgun is drilled and tapped. The way the mounting part of it works it should fit pretty much any popular shotgun out there that is drilled and tapped for a rail.

That ^ will never work for turkeys. At the very minimum, it needs a 34mm tube, an integral level, a power throw lever, an anti-reflection honeycomb gizmo and maybe one of those little retractable tape thingies with custom holdovers for various ranges on it.

You owe the turkeys a quick, humane death...:)


What's the deal with the red dot in the original post? Does it have multiple holes so that some will always line up with the hole spacing in different receivers? The low mounting height looks terrific on this thing. :)

Edited to add: I just noticed that the front appears to have an elongated hole to allow the mounting of the front screw anywhere along its length? As long as the thickness of that extended front ensures that tightening the screw won't flex the sides outwards, this is pretty slick.

What shotguns ?

Will it fit on a 3 hole 870, a 4 hole 870 ?

Need more fitment info before ordering, because I try and avoid returns
