vortex viper turret question

I bought a new scope...says on the turrets to pull up to reset back to zero.
i cannot get them to budge and dont want reef on them and mess them up....any thoughts

no takers or advice from anyone who has the same?

Don't own one but all videos show that you just unscrew/remove turret cap and then pull up on dial to reset once you are zeroed.
Videos show minimal force required to lift dial to reset.

Ran into this exact issue. Outer caps come off via Allen key. Sight in as needed on inner caps. Then once zeroed put outer caps back on aligning the zero stop on the mark.
