Hello

I am looking for someone that has one of these to answer a question I have about it. I have an uncle with poor eye sight (macular degeneration). He tries to watch the TV with a monocular which is 6 power and can only see about half of his TV set. He has the TV as far away from him as the room will allow. My question is, will this magnifier focus down to say 10 feet? If someone could try seeing the tv with one sitting at about 8-10 feet and tell me what you can see I would really appreciate. I would buy my uncle one if it would work better for him and even mount it on some type of head mount like the NVG units.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Well. i just to used Vortex but not work very clear under 10 Feet close the TV.
Let said 35" TV .
also try real aimpoint. same .not so clear in that range .
but i Try some copy one from china .
aimpoint 3x copy ..so clear on 10 feet on my 35" TV .i can see 95% .on 3X .
also good on 6 feet but 75% you can watch the whole TV.

if you a in GTA.
you can have my copy one to let him try.

again i try some knock off eotech 4x Magnifier.
super clear on this one on 10 feet close my TV.also this one viewing area inside is squre.not the round one.
so you can see the TV is same as the real TV size.but little smaller.let said 85% smaller that the real TV.

This is exactly the info I was looking for. I might order one of the cheap units and let him try it out. Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to answer my questions.

Same results on mine. Further than 10 feet its great. Less than not so much.
