Hi im looking for feedback on the Bushnell 1-4x24mm Illuminated BTR-300 BLK Reticle. its on sale right now but no reviews.
I was recommended the vortex strike eagle 1-6 and this is going on a wk-180c.
Personally im a vortex fan but im on a budget and need an optic asap.

The reticle on the Bushnell is set up specificially with hold over points for the .300BLK cartridge.

The WK comes chambered in 556.

You would be better off going with Vortex for that reason. However, there is nothing wrong with either choice.

I have the Vortex on my ######XX ###X rifle in 556 and the .300BLK on my Renegade in........... .300BLK. Both do exactly as they should.

You may appreciate the additional magnification of the vortex.

If you can stretch your budget about $50 over the Vortex I would have a look at the Delta Hornet 1-6. Available at Hirsch Precision. I've heard from trusted source that it's one of the best in the price range.

bushnell made an ar 1-4x24 with a reticle for 5.56.
for info the 300blk reticle works very well on the 7.62x39 caliber ...

Both better service imo than the "L" brand. Look at em all being sold in the EE after a lifetime in a safe! But they "hold up well" (in the safe). Top of the line equipment if you ask me.

My last Vortex was literally tossed in the garbage. Every Bushnell I have owned is still in operation.
My requirements in a hunting rifle are rather basic, so a quality simple Bushnell has always worked well for me.
The older Japanese-made 3500/4500 series were my favourites. Great glass and coatings, durable design, and they hold zero.
Some complain about eye relief, but that has not been a problem for me.
Vortex 0. Bushnell 14 (and counting).

Of all the guns I have that have scopes, they are all Bushnell. I never had a problem with any of them. I only changed to Vortex for my WK as I wanted a red dot and the Strikefire 2 was on sale. But if I was looking for a scope, it would 100% be Bushnell (maybe Vortex makes good scopes, I don't know, but I don't need to move from something that has historically always been reliable for me for rifle scopes).

You can get the bushnell 1-4 ar optics with the correct reticle for 223
You can get it in ffp or sfp as well
That’s what I would get if I were you. I have a couple strike eagles and they have been ok so far
The Burris RT-6 is a nice scope as well
