Votex Crossfire II vs other cheap RDS

I have two Crossfire 2s and have had them for many years, they have been of everything, .22lrs, 12ga etc. and they have each seen thousands of rounds with no issues. They are cheap, non nonsense and reliable.

I have one and like it. I have minor astigmatism and see a noticeable difference from one rds to the next. I stopped buying holosun since they all flare excessively for me even on the lowest useable brightness. That and the blue tint I don't like. While they're not Aimpoint clear, the Crossfire ii is exceptionally good for 1/10th the price. Almost no tint, good clarity and one of the crispiest dots to my eyes. The only rds better was my old Aimpoint PRO and Leupold Deltapoint Pro. But they cost significantly more. Overall you can't go wrong with a Crossfire ii for the money.

I re-iterate, see Post 4 - depending on Your vision capability I've found $50 dots sufficient until you consider 100+ yards shots - then you may want a higher quality dot. My Holosun is 2-moa and still not exceptionally accurate IMO. But I shoot 22lR in MOA-range, so I'm 'fussy'.
