Developed by the renowned engineers at Sauer for the SIG SAUER pistols, the new DAK trigger system delivers a safe, reliable and consistent 6.5 pound double-action only trigger pull. The DAK is currently available for the P226 and P229 models. (above shown with night sights)
- Smooth, consistent 6.5 pound double-action trigger
- Multi-strike capability w/o pre-tensioning or pre-stressing internal firing mechanism
- Remains in condition of rest w/o placing the mainspring or firing pin spring under tension
- Slide must be locked back and magazine removed to disassemble
- Safely disassembles without having to pull the trigger

Is the Sig 226 DAK a steel frame or aluminum frame pistol?

are you talking about 9mm or .40? it's normal that .40 won't last as long as 9mm because of the higher recoil (if I'd ever get a .40 Beretta it be a Brigadier or Elite model which has a stronger heavier slide). But for 9mm changing a locking block every 5K is as necessary as changing underwear every half an hourI've never seen a locking block last close to 20,000rds. Most of the Berettaphiles suggest 5,000rds is the time to replace them. Also keep in mind that many departments use higher pressure HP loads too, this can affect component lifespans.
Maybe get some Beretta medallions inlaid into his fangs...KevinB said:In all seriousness if they cleaned Savex up, and gave him a bath he would be a good Beretta LE rep...
Slavex said:I am still shaking my head over was the rep's pushing of the Vertec on the ERT guys instead of the GSD, which had all the things they wanted out of pistol. But no, instead they were made to take the Vertec. Yeah big guys with big hands needed the Vertec.
