VS-858 stock removal

I know this has been asked before but does anyone have any tips for getting the stock off so I can install a folder. I got the buttplate screw & buttplate out but the stock screw is a problem. I thought there was a VZ-58 thread in one of the forums that had this info but I can't find it.

It's friggen tight. You'll need a big screwdriver, and something to apply the force. A large Craftsman slot with a wrench for torque should do it.

Thanks for the input. This may be a dumb question but this is a right hand thread, correct? I don't want to be reefing on this thing in the wrong direction.

Yes, it is a right hand thread.

tap while you twist

Have some one tap the screw driver while you twist, make sure you have the right size screw driver.

It will come they are really tight.
