Vtr 700 stocks

I am starting a build on a rem 700 vtr.
Curious who has one of these and what stock they recommend.

Its just a Remington 700 is it not? Pick a stock or chassis that's in your budget for the Remington 700 of the appropriate action length (long or short action) and go nuts.

If that's the one with the triangle barrel I've always wanted to see one in an MDT TAC-21 chassis.

Any stock should be fine that fits a 700SA, maybe check out some Boyds or a used HS Precision off EE, one up every second day or so...

I found that Remington LTR stock perfect for the VTR contour barrel and the LTR has the shortened forend which goes well with VTR barrel length.

I have a VTR in .223 that I dropped into an H-S precision stock. Works great for me.
I did have to trim out some material around the trigger area to make room for the mark x trigger and safety though.

I just picked up a VTR with the triangular barrel, and I too would be interested in a new/better stock, ideally using DBM's...

What about the MDT LSS chassis? Gives you your dbm without having to purchase and inlet new bottom metal. Keep that 350.00 or so price tag in mind as well.
