Vudoo v22

Inside arms already made another order so maybe by end of spring mid summer they’ll be in? Just a wild guess. Yes they are absolutely crazy nice. I have one. I started the thread on here. Beyond any of the anschutz 1710, or 1712’s I had. This is much much nicer

Hey MIKE112288:
As a guy lusting after an Anschutz 1710 or 1712, can you get specific for readers regarding the "why's" of your statement? (that the V22 is better).

Ya I still like those anschutz rifles and I had a anschutz 1727 22lr which was very nice but the vudoo v22 is a copy of a high end rem 700 style action which alone is super nice and built much make solid and hefty than any other I’ve had. It feels like more rifle. It looks like more rifle and apparently shoots like a real rifle too. Some of the groups guys are getting at 100 yards mimic a custom centerfire at 100 yards! Once you hold one and feel the action and see its quality in comparison to an anschutz 1710 you wont need any more thought. Takes all the rem700 triggers atocks and chassis out there. Nothing about it not to like

The Anschutz and Vudoo are two very different rifles. One is walnut and blued steel in traditional rifle styling. The other is a barreled action designed to fit a Remington 700 stock or chassis, which the customer purchases in addition to the barreled action. If you prefer traditional styling it's clear which rifle is for you.

No doubt the Vudoo is accurate. Here's the average results achieved by a test done by American Hunter h t t p s://www.americanhunter.org/articles/2018/5/29/review-vudoo-gun-works-raven-22-lr/

This is the result of one test, and others may be better or worse.

The Vudoo can be had in a variety of configurations, some of which are shown below.

Not everybody will shoot good enough to squeeze such tiny groups out at 100 yards. I just know I’ve seen a fair amount of pics of groups at 100 yards that blow me away for a rimfire 22! I wouldn’t mind another one in a classy wood stock with nice grain to it

Given the options available for the Vudoo action, I'd probably buy one if they were available in Australia.
Having said that, I certainly wouldn't be parting with my Cooper, Anschutz, Weihrauch, Walther rifles to replace any of them with a Vudoo optioned to my tastes.
As stated above, we're really comparing apples to oranges here - The German "old world" classic walnut blued rim fires and the American build will appeal to totally different buyers who would normally use them in totally different applications.

These results @ 100m? I’d be impressed! I would beleave 50m haven’t sean a video yet doing .250 @100m I pull a .5 @100 I’m having a super day!.

Australia has been getting vudoo rifles. They have somebody there importing them so maybe find out who. Guarantee if you see one up close you will b much more confident about having one. I’ve owned like every rimfire rifle available lol no joke I’ve had so many different ones it’s crazy. High end and cheap rifles. This tops them all without any doubt my cooper rimfire I had also wouldn’t touch this thing in build quality and how tough it is built is crazy

The results posted above in the chart from the American Hunter review are at 50 yards, not 100. About 100 yard results, the reviewer writes that "I fired several 100-yard groups that measured less than a half-inch," a comment hardly compatible with those in the chart. In capable hands the Vudoo shoots well, but not extraordinarily so.

Go to the Facebook page ”vudoo gunworks group” and see the new post of somebody 5 shot 100 yard group measuring .4

Thanks, Mike - I'll follow that up - The only info I've seen on these Vudoos down here is stuff I've posted from North American sites and it drew little response - Extremely limited market for expensive/exotic 22's here.
The build quality and durability of these rifles is evident in pictures so having one "in hand" would be an experience.
Not trying to offend anyone here but really accurate 22's can be built from many actions if (like me) you're silly enough to throw enough dollars and expertise at them.
Below is an example - I started playing around with this humble Mark II in 2010 - Just checked my logs & it has fired 8,484 shots - I'm frankly surprised that the action shows no signs of any serious wear at this point. I've only ever owned one other 22 which could consistently out shoot it and that is a full custom built on an LA101 action. The Cooper custom build pictured with the Savage cost three times the money to build so cost is not always a true indicator of potential accuracy and function! The Savage belongs to my wife who shot that linked target. From memory, her best group at 100 was a .436" C to C for 5 shots but IMO, realistically trying to shoot consistently under 1.25" at 100 with a 22LR on an outdoor range is a real chore.
I'm fortunate in that I have access to a very competent smith with a very well equipped workshop.
