Vudoo v22

Can anyone comment on the smoothness of the V-22 action vs the Anschutz 54?

Love my 1712 partly because it's the most slick / smooth action I've ever used.

I'm considering picking up another high-end .22 this year and torn between the Vudoo, 1727, or one of the used 54.18's on the EE... too many choices lol.

I have a v22. I had the 1727 pull action,1710 and 1712. GET the v22 no questions. Not even question lol. The action is very smooth. The anschutz 1727 is very smooth and nice for sure but this is the same quality as custom 700 actions. You now know which one to order!

Ammo? I've done similar with a custom CZ, so, accuracy wise I don't see a price justification. For sure the action operation is beauty. Eh... depends on one's goals, I suppose. Annie 54 actions are very nice, but I'll never buy a factory rifle and expect it to shoot the lights out. Maybe a Vudoo action with custom fit barrel is the way to go ;)

I don't shoot off a front rest or bunny bag - an Atlas bipod and rear sand sock is what I use. A BR setup I am sure would tighten things up but that isnt my shooting style.

I have no idea what barrel is on mine - I would have chosen premium (Bartlein, Kreiger, etc.) if I had known there were options at the time.
