VX-FREEDOM ocular lens size?

I just grabbed a VX-FREEDOM 4-12X40 off the EE and want to order flip caps for it. Does anyone know the true diameter of the bell? Website says 1.83" which is 46.5mm and sounds about right,but would like to make sure before I order.


Yes, I could wait for it to get here but thought I'd ask!

If it's an in between size by a few 1/10 mm get the size slighty bigger and wrap a tight layer of electrician tape on the bell/eye piece as needed. It makes a tight fit and will be invisible.

If they are too tight it's a pain in the butt...
