VX Systems LTD rebore from 30-06 to 9.3

Hi there,

I was cruising around on the hunting rifle exchange and I saw a rifle that a fellow has up for sale, the barrel is stamped with "VX Systems LTD" 30-06 rebored to 9.3 and chambered for 9.3x62. There is also a maple leaf stamped to the left of the name.

I tried looking up the name of this company, gunsmith etc online but I cannot find any information.

I have recently taken a liking to the 9.3x62 and I have heard about reboring services in the USA, but not in Canada.

Does anyone have any more information about this company, if they are still around or if anybody does this kind of rebore project. It would sure open up all kinds of neat options.

That looks like a Ron Smith rebore, notice the RKS on the barrel. - dan

VX systems did the original 30-06 barrel frm what I can tell, then Ron rebored and rechambered it.
