VX111 to become VX3?

I've heard that Leupold has a new upgrade coming for 2009, with the VX111 being renamed the VX3. Does anyone have the scoop on what the changes are? I could handle some VX7 lens technology trickling down.

from what ive heard is that there gonna drop some of there vx111 scopes .not sure which models ..?

The entire Leupold line as descrbed by VX III and VX L are being changed over somewhat...specificly going to Diamond coat instead of Multi coat 4. As usual some scopes are being dicontinued while other remain unchanged other than a few tweeks here and there. Phil.

That's good news. Anything that helps the adjustments track has got to be a good thing.
