VZ 1911 grips & ambi safety

I've got a Norinco 9mm 1911 that I want to change out the grips on. I really like the VZ grips, but they say not fitted for ambi safety. Has anyone tried them and can verify this, one way or the other? Should I just look for something else that IS ambi safety ready? Any input is appreciated.

Ambi safety relief cutout is an option with VZ grips. It depends if the grip was ordered with it or not.

Thanks. Was just looking on Brownells and it didn't mention the option. I'll check it out.

Just ordered from VZ. Order direct from them, cheaper and you can custom order the grips. They just had a sale of 20% off everything so I bought several sets. I believe all grips can be ordered with the ambi cut.

Optional only on the VZ website when you place a custom order. Brownell's will have whatever they ordered for stock.
