VZ 1911 grips

Hi all,
I was looking at replacing my grips on my nork 1911 and my ruger 1911with the vz grips. What is the quality like and fit and finish or should I go another route. Im open to suggestions.

Plus expensive shipping costs, $65 for grip, plus I think it was $25 shipping to my door. I passed and bought eBay one with free shipping for $30. Happy with my purchase.

It'S just too bad they dont have all the customizing uptions on amazon. Those grips are top quality and well worth the asking price; Even if you put them on a 350$ (or 170$) norinco 1911...

I just received my simonich gunners from VZ......wow....that pretty much sums it up. I had to order through vz because I wanted the "super scoop" option on mine. To be honest, knowing what I know now with this set, I would have paid 100+ for them.

I recieved my etc frags this week. $125 total made exactly how I wanted and custom engraved by Justin who is a really helpfull guy.
Expensive? Yes. Awesome? Definitely.

I got a set for my delta elite. Had them customized with the delta medallions. Payed like $120 shipped with medallions included.
Convinced the guy to do up a set for my Hi-Power practical with the buck mark medallions. Waiting for them to arrive.

Can you customize them on their website or do you have to call them? How long did the grips take to arrive after you placed the order?

I was happy to learn Calgary Shooting Center carried them. Have a look there.

This is the guy I used. He does exceptional work. The Delta grips took about two and a half week from order to my door. I told him which grips , colour mag well cut, etc. and that I wanted the medallions. He orders the grips from VZ and does the work. Ships them out.
The hi power grips he has never done before but I convinced him. He said about 4 weeks as he hasn't done them before.

VZ does great grips. I would put them on every handgun I could if I owned more of them. Subscribe to their Facebook or Twitter. They often have great sales, sometimes even free shipping to Canada!
