I think the one that you are referring to on the EE right now is just a homemade version. Not sure what that scope is though.

Here's one that is legit. I have also seen one on the EE a year or so ago with the same mount configuration as this one, unfortunately I did not realise what it was at the time. It was the price of a normal VZ52/57. :(

I was lucky enough to get my hands on one the snipers as shown in the linked gallery. It has a dovetail welded to the left of the receiver, upon which a quick-detachable infrared scope is mounted (I also got my hands of one of these). It's also the only Vz 52/57 that I've had with all matching numbers, including the handguard, and the complete cleaning kit.

With the scope mounted, it's pretty unwieldy and not at all practical, but it's an interesting piece and nice to have together. There's not a lot of info available on them, but I did contact the person who posted the linked pictures and the provenance of his rifle matches mine.

Prolly not lol. The 7.62x39mm round isn't a very long Range shooter.

Say what?!?! In Battlefield 3 I am constantly getting kills with my sniper rifle, SKS, at 700m+. :D

Just the fact that the SKS was put into the sniper category makes me laugh.

As to the OP, no that does not look "original".
